It Matters Monday

APRIL 18, 2011

Today was a pretty busy day, it felt like a roller coaster.

The gesture was not big and inspired by something that happened to a friend of mine not to long ago. In the spirit of It Matters Monday, I paid for the order of the person behind me at the Starbucks drive through.

It's not much but, coffee on me hopefully made their day a little better. I know it made me pretty happy :)

Anything cheerful happen on your Monday?

  1. My good deed of the day was to waste as much time as I could of a sleazy injury lawyer. That way he was too busy to bug other people for a little while.
I also gave a bunch of stuff and food to someone who needed it. With the help of my good friend Anna who drove it to his house.

  2. It was a sad day for me. My best friend's father passed and I couldn't provide comfort because I remembered my own pain when my Dad passed.
But I am getting stock of it now. He needs me.

  3. I'm really sorry to hear about you're friends pain. Loss is never easy...it's that unfortunate part of life we all have to deal with at some point. Eventually we all get through it, those who leave are always present in our memories.

  4. This is a great post. It's been on my mind lately that we should all do what we can to help the world be a better place, and it's not up to someone else. It's up to us. Thanks for reminding me that little things can help too.

I'm new to your blog! I found you on FTLOB and can't wait to read more! Feel free to check out my blog as well!
